Angry Birds

Tom heeft voor vanmiddag een kaart nodig voor een feestje en ik moest zoals gewoonlijk gisteravond nog beginnen. Inspiratie!! Weinig, tot Tom zei dat ik maar een Angry Birds kaart moest maken. Toen was ik zo klaar. Ik heb nl. een tijdje terug een hele leuke video gezien voor het maken van zo'n kaart. En alle ponsen die je nodig hebt om deze kaart te maken die heb ik op eentje na. 

I watched this video a while back and when I needed to make a birthday card for one of my son's friends I made this Angry Birds card. Thanks Tami. I love it. 

Supplies:

Cardstock: SU, whisper white, soft suede, real red, garden green, more mustard, basic black. Bazzill, kraft

Kaartje voor een challenge.

Ik had gisteren een kaart nodig voor mijn zus en ik had niet zo veel inspiratie. Gelukkig zijn er dan nog de challenge blogs. De schets voor deze kaart komt van CPS, lang geleden dat ik mee heb gedaan aan hun challenges maar hier is mijn kaart. Het meeste werk was het maken van de pot deksel.

I quickly needed a card for my sister yesterday and I didn't have much inspiration. So I went over to the CPS blog, liked the sketch and made my card. Most time went into the jar topper, I paper pieced that one. More work but worth it.

12 tags of 2012

Het zal niemand zijn ontgaan (zij die Tim Holtz volgen dan) dat Tim de "12 tags of Christmas" heeft veranderd in "12 tags of 2012". Dus elke maand een nieuwe tag en een volle maand om er zelf een te maken. Geeft  stukken minder stress in december! Hier is mijn tag voor februari.

Tim Holtz changed his "12 tags of Christmas" to "12 tags of 2012". Less stress in December and a full year of one tag a month. Here is mine for February.

Ik had geen idee of deze kaart iets zou worden maar ik heb er uiteindelijk toch nog iets van kunnen maken. Deze is ook nog voor de challenge van het Jingle Belles blog.

When I started this card I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but I do. Sometimes is so difficult to translate what is in your head into an actual card. This is another card for the Jingle Belles blog challenge.

Ik vond de Kerstkaart die ik voor het Jingle Belles blog maakte leuk om te doen dus heb een andere pons gepakt en nog een kaart gemaakt. Dit keer ging alles in een keer goed.

Nieuwe Kerstkaart.

Ik probeer nog steeds bij te blijven met het maken van Kerstkaarten. En het Jingle Belles blog maakt het me makkelijk door elke 2 weken met een nieuwe challenge te komen. Dit keer was het "all buttoned up". Gebruik knopen. Nou die heb ik zat. Een kaart ermee maken is natuurlijk was anders. En ik ben maar 3x opnieuw begonnen omdat het niet ging zoals ik wilde.

Gistermiddag en avond nog even hard gewerkt om 3 Valentijns kaarten te maken. En ja, ik ben weer eens te laat begonnen. Maar ze waren op tijd af.

Winter in Nederland! En een kaart.

Vanmorgen stond ik al om 10 uur op het ijs van de vijver tegenover ons huis. Sneeuw schuiven zodat er geschaatst kon worden. Samen met de buurvrouw en nog wat mensen met een sneeuwschuiver hebben we toch wel heel veel sneeuw verschoven. Het ziet er prima uit. Kunnen we morgen weer fijn gaan schaatsen. Tom is om half 10 het ijs opgegaan en kwam er om 5 uur af. Om 1 uur zijn Jack en ik hem een broodje gaan brengen. Ik ben benieuwd hoe laat hij in slaap valt. Kan nooit laat zijn.

Winter finally came to The Netherlands. After a few days of very cold weather we had a day of snow. Major disruption of normal life but now it's Saturday and it's time to put our skates on. We had the most perfect weather, cold, sun and no wind. As the ice on the pond was covered with snow we had our work cut out to clear it but lots of people helped and now we have an almost cleared pond. Perfect for tomorrow. My son Tom went out on the ice at 9.30 am and came of the ice at 4.30pm. We brought him lunch.

Een mannenkaart.

Op het blog van Lily Pad cards hebben ze weer een leuke challenge, een patterned paper challenge. Gebruik je favoriete papier waar je super zuinig op bent en al jaren in de kast ligt. Zo zou je de challenge kunnen lezen. Ik heb papier gebruikt wat ik nog niet zo lang heb, van Martha gekregen, maar ik vond het wel leuk om voor deze challenge te gebruiken. En is is prima papier om een mannenkaart mee te maken. Ik vond vandaag nog een mal van Make Me en die heb ik gebruikt voor al die stukjes papier

This is my card for the patterned paper challenge on the Lily Pad cards blog. All the paper used comes from one 6x6 paper pad from MME, I love the kraft look of every sheet. And it's great to make masculine cards with.

4x6 photo love December

Dit is een layout voor de laatste "4x6 photo love" klas op Two Peas in a Bucket. Ik heb maar 3 lay-outs gemaakt voor deze klas, maar het is wel heel leuk om te doen. In januari 2011 was Shimelle begonnen met één foto en in december moest je er 12 gebruiken. En dat op één vel van 12x12 inch. 

This is a LO for the December "4x6 photo love" class on Two Peas in a Bucket. This was also the last 4x6 photo love class. Shimelle started with just one picture in January 2011 and she finished with 12!!!
