Nog een kaart voor de "ombre" challenge.

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor een vriendin die afgelopen donderdag jarig was. En ik kan deze nu dus ook op mijn blog tonen want als het goed is staat deze nu bij Wilma op de kast.

Eigenlijk had ik deze kaart als eerste gemaakt voor de "Honoring Ombre" Challenge op het Moxie Fab World blog, maar kon de kaart nog niet op mijn blog zetten voor dat Wilma de kaart had ontvangen. Maar nu is deze challenge met een week verlengd dus kan ik ook deze kaart nog gebruiken voor de challenge.

I'm glad the "Honoring Ombre" challenge had been extended till next week. I made this card first but couldn't post it because it was a birthday card for a friend. So I made another one. But now I can post this card too over on the Moxie Fab World blog as my second card for the challenge.

Eén kaart, 2 challenges.

Af en toe maak ik nog eens een kaart voor een challenge. En als ik dan één kaart voor 2 challenges kan maken is dat ook wel mooi meegenomen. Op het Jingle belles blog was de challenge "Deck the Halls" en de challenge op het Moxie Fab blog was de challenge "card play".

Ik heb vorig jaar een oud kaartspel, zwarte pieten, gevonden in een antiekwinkel hier in het dorp. Het was niet compleet maar ik vond de plaatjes zo schattig. Er zat ook nog een balboekje uit 1892 bij!! Zo leuk. Staat in mijn kast bij alle andere leuke spulletjes. Ik heb voor mijn kaart een van de speelkaarten gekopieerd (ik ga echt de originele kaarten niet gebruiken). Ik heb zo eens alle kaarten die in het spel zitten goed bekeken en ik kan deze voor heel veel gelegenheden gebruiken.

One card for 2 challenges.

I found an old set of playing cards in a local antique shop. It was incomplete but I love the images so I bought it anyway. It also contained a very old dance card,  from 1892. In it gentemen could write their name behind a dance. Such a lucky find!
Anyway, I used one of the playing cards to make one card for two challenges. The "Deck the Halls" challenge on the Jingle Belles blog and the "card play" challenge on the Moxie fab world blog. I copied the playing card, couldn't get myself to use the orininal.

Tripje op de fiets/ I want to ride my bicycle.

Weer een leuke challenge op het Moxie Fab World blog. Doe iets met een fiets! En als je in Nederland, fietsland, woont wil je wel meedoen. Nu heb ik één fiets stempel en moest ik die wel gebruiken. Ben die stempel vandaag 2x kwijt geweest nog voor ik met mijn kaart begon!! Het is dus goed gekomen anders had ik deze kaart niet kunnen maken.


Another fab challenge on the Moxie Fab World blog, "I want to ride my bicycle". And as I live in a land where a bike is the primary way of transportation for lots of people, I wanted to participate in this challenge. I have just one bike stamp and I lost that twice even before I started on my card today! But then again, I lost a whole stampset a couple of months ago, woodmounted in a clear case, never found it again.
The text is Dutch and it says: Happy Birthday.

Ik vind de challenges op het Moxie Fab World blog heel leuk, ben alleen vaak te laat met inzenden. Vandaag is de laatste dag dat je voor deze challenge een kaart kunt plaatsen. Op tijd toch? Ik kwam er ook laat pas achter dat het papier wat ik gebruikt heb ideaal is voor de challenge.

Double challenge.

Niet echt mijn kleur dit maar ik wilde meedoen met de "plum crazy" challenge op het Moxie Fab World blog. De schets is van CardPatterns en de kaart is voor de piano lerares van Simone, die viert vandaag haar 25-jarig jubileum bij de muziekschool.
